Thanks for your comment. Shopify is the best ecommerce platform on the market today but that’s not to say it’s not for everyone. Depending on how comfortable you are on a computer, and what your ecommerce business actually is, other options may be more suitable. Wix and Weebly, for example, are more beginner-friendly and still give you pretty great ecommerce features, they’re just not quite as powerful as Shopify. We’d say that unless you’re selling tons of products, or need to scale up fast, maybe start off with Wix or Weebly then see how things go.

Overall, Bigcommerce seems to be offering a bit more design customization possibilities than Shopify. There are just more elements that can be adjusted or fine-tuned about the way your store looks and feels. At the end of the day, though, I still consider Shopify’s interface a bit more friendly, and I get the impression that Shopify’s designs need slightly less work before you get them looking 100% right.

One of the biggest advantages of listing your products on Amazon is that you can use its Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program, which handles shipping for you. WP-Lister Lite for Amazon supports that feature, but keep in mind that if you use it, you’ll need to direct any purchases made on your WooCommerce store to your Amazon listings. I wonder how the tests were done, especially that I work on Magento and have own thoughts comparing Shopify and other platforms. Magento is a big thing, packed into community version, Yes, its slow, but it can be tweaked. Btw its no.1 platform in usage currently wordlwide. So your guides is a bit skewed I think……. Its Community Edition is completely free and open-source, but you will be responsible for setting it up and paying for the hosting and domain. With the new Points and Rewards WooCommerce Extension, the only thing missing is a referral system that let's customers earn points for referring their friends. So essentially anyone could create an account on your WooCommerce site and share your products with their friends. When their friends use the referral link and buy a product from your site, the customer that refers them gets points.
